Wellcome to the gite of la Coste

The gite (guest house)of Mas La Coste is an isolated farm situated at 600 m in the Cevennes mountains of southern France.
This small undiscovered region between Mont Aigoual and the plains of Languedoc enjoys the Mediterranean climate and the authenticity of an area unspoilt by popularity.
It is about one hours drive from Montpellier, Nimes or Ales.
You’ll be very welcome here for one or more nights, just time to enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding ridges and valleys, the peaceful atmosphere and pure air, and to explore the chestnut groves. Walk with lavender and thyme underfoot on the mountains or sheep trails scattered with standing stones and springs, abundant with fauna and flora. Or just come for a rest, contemplation or to gather with friends or family. Enjoy the local specialities and wines.
